Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management

Health & Safety

Health and safety management is an ongoing process that is required throughout the project and key to our offer is ensuring that we continuously strive for best practice and engage with our workforce and our Clients and members of the public to promote an environment and culture of zero harm.

Environmental

As holders of ISO14001:2015 Certification, we are environmentally aware and responsible in everything we do. Skyform previously commissioned an environmental impact review and Carbon Footprint Study at the Head Office in Glasgow. The report noted that a significant reduction in Carbon Emissions could be achieved by installing a Biomass boiler – This has now been installed for over 10 years and we are pleased to be one of the few companies in Scotland who have completely ended their reliance on gas heating and hot water systems. The Biomass system is powered by sustainably sourced woodchips which are provided by local suppliers.

Quality

The Skyform IMS defines the policy, organisation and responsibilities for the management of quality within Skyform. It ensures that all activities comply with an agreed set of rules, regulations and guidelines and that the end product conforms to the customer’s contractual requirements.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Skyform consider ourselves as being part of the community. We understand that local businesses and communities are closely linked and that we can have a significant impact on communities as a whole.

Skyform Group plays an active role in contributing to these communities both through direct financial support and through the support of our Directors and staff who take part in activities organised both by the firm and by themselves.  Our Directors and staff are involved in local council initiatives and other business group activities.  We also provide work placements for local students and support for educational establishments.

We support a number of national and local charities with both time and money. The firm supports payroll giving and the Directors and senior management provide time and advice free of charge to local groups and organisations.

Our objective is to encourage our Directors, management and staff to play a significant part in the development of local communities.
